Regenerative farms

Regenerative farming is a way of managing land that aims to improve soil health. On livestock farms, it usually means rotational or adaptive grazing: animals graze one paddock for a short time and then move to fresh pasture, so the grass gets time to regrow. The practices are meant to keep the ground covered, limit soil disturbance and support a mix of pasture plants. Learn more in What regenerative farming means and what to ask a farm.

33 farms in this directory describe their own practices as regenerative, on their own site or in a directory profile they filled in.

Regenerative (as stated by the farm): Regenerative farming has no legal definition. The badge reflects the farm’s own description, not a certification or a site endorsement.
